A little about me …
Hi! Im Gayle,
Mama to two wonderful girls and lover to my husband, raising our babies in Byron Bay hinterland. Our happy place is the ocean, and you can usually find us at the beach, surfing first thing in the morning or at dusk. We thrive on going on adventures, seeing new places & meeting new people!
I'm a huge lover of love and people - the connections that make up our lives and those we love. Since I used my first film camera as a child - I’ve been hooked.
One of my ultimate joys is to capture moments that make us FEEL.
Whether it be the precious first days of your newborn baby, your engagement shoot to showcase your love for one another, or the cherished baby bump - your journey into motherhood.
My style is relaxed and natural, letting the individual personalities shine.
Showcasing my photos in soft moody tones and light filled golden hues - I always seek to tell a story. Highlighting beauty, the spontaneous magic of a moment & using natural light to do it.
> Where did the name 'Cape To Byron Photography' originate?
Feeling a connection to my homeland Cape Town, South Africa and following my passion for photography and travel (now based in Byron Bay, Australia) Cape To Byron Photography was born.
